Remember that great 80’s movie “Working Girl”? It stared Melanie Griffith as a business women in New York. The same movie that helped people realize just who the heck Melanie Griffith was.

Well The New York Daily News recently reported that Joe Simpson was talking about his daughter staring in the remake of the movie.

A staring role for Jessica Simpson? Complete with full lines that might make some girls cry while inspiring more? I know it’s tough for us to fathom as well but it could be true. Who knows, she may make an amazing Oscar winning actress.
