The Departed lands at Number One
Martin Scorsese’s newest film, “The Departed” takes over the number one spot with an estimated $27 million in ticket sales.
The star packed film pushed “Open Season” which was number one, out of the top spot, while “Texas Chainsaw” snagged the number 2 spot. Jessica Simpsons new film “Employee of the Month” began it’s film life at the number 4 place.
Scrosese’s film includes a huge cast of stars with the likes of Matt Damon, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jack Nicholson, and many many more.
